Two for One

Task

Somehow get a sample of that light.

Maybe hold on tight while a hotair balloon hauls you and a bucket up,--- up up.

Don't wait until it cools, pour it all over that last remaining shadow you've seen in your dreams.

Always

Without the somethings,
the stumbles and the miss-steps,
this life would be easier,
but we would fall asleep from boredom
instead of blissful exhaustion.

Veil

As you steel yourself enough

to head out in this deep unknown,

remember,

this unknown is correctly dressed;

it's those sunny days

(just as mysterious)

which are in masquerade.

Bifurcation

Try to believe two things:

that today is like all other days
and it's not like any other.

Always Problems

The weekend substitute Sun is late.
She got caught on the throughway between this Universe

And now....the weather

Someone can love someone else more than they'll ever know? No.

Select any point (A) on the rising angle of your existence.
Follow the upward line with your eyes and breath.

Evaporation

I put yesterday on the counter
right next to where I hang my house keys.
It was right there where I left it an hour later,

then I went to the window
to see if it was raining
and when I turned around,
it was today.

Soiree

 Pass the sugar.

What we keep in mind

The mind must remember that there is a bottle of capers in the fridge,
that Tuesday next our appointment is now at 9:20,
that the sun is really out there warming us up.

The heart has the harder task:
to remember that love is here,
sometimes just as hard to see as the capers or the sun,
but here.
